Working on a part time basis with the head of marketing. Duties included designing training materials including online, classroom and field based sales training. I also supported with any translations for marketing materials where required.

Key Account Manager for end user (main contractor) accounts. Additional responsibilities involve developing coaching documents, field coaching for the Job Site Solutions team and interviewing and recruiting new team members.

Responsible for developing, growing sales and securing agreements with 10 large national main contractors.

Known as a Divisional Project Manager this role focussed on growing sales on large construction projects in the north west. Building multi level relationships with contractors, designers and influencers I was responsible for co-ordinating Hilti resources (Account Managers, Engineers, Marketing) in order to maximise opportunities. I had one direct report.

Known as an ATS (Advanced Training Scheme) Trainer, I designed and delivered advanced sales and marketing training to Hilti employees in GB. The course was the first to be implemented in the Hilti organisation and led to a qualification QCF Level 3 Diploma in Sales and Marketing recognised by the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management (ISMM). Other internal training delivered included product and Health and Safety courses.

Developed a strategy to grow the civil engineering business within GB. Completed trade training, updated the customer and project factbase. Identifyed market trends, competition, customer needs and opportunities. Networked with key stakeholders including directors, account managers and industry influencers (trade associations, contractors, clients, consultants). Using integrated marketing communications to further develop the Hilti brand.

Manage the Cordless and Cutting, Drilling and support the Power Tool product portfolios. Key areas include understand the market (marketing plans, market share, trends, SWOT), define goals (produce yearly plan based on factbase, identify new business, communicate the strategy, anticipate competitor activities), achieve the goals (new product introductions, salesforce training, delivering the value proposition).

Known as a Project Engineer this role focussed on engineering support and training to sales teams and included major project co-ordination. Design support for key regional consulting engineers and contractors in order to achieve product specifications. CPD seminar delivery, Hand Arm Vibration testing, anchor testing and specification selling were all part of the role.
