Current• Construct, certify, and transmit 1392 proposed and adopted official business Resolutions and Concurrent Resolutions to the President and Vice-President of the United States, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Cabinet Secretaries, Michigan Congressional Delegation, Federal Government Agencies, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, Directors of Michigan Departments, University Officials, and other entities. • Compose and edit 2054 honorary and ceremonial resolutions for submission to and approval of Speaker, Minority Leader, Majority and Minority Floor Leaders, and individual Representatives prior to introduction and floor and committee action. Subjects include memorials, organizational and individual tributes, and diverse and contentious public policy issues. • Serve as intermediary between Clerk of the House, Chamber Leadership, and Member Offices in formulating, interpreting, analyzing, and enforcing Resolution Guidelines, Procedures, and Processes. • Perform and process instant status updates on Legislative Service Bureau technical amendments and bill substitutes under consideration during House session floor proceedings. • Edit and deliver official messages and documents to Secretary of the Senate.
