CurrentManage accounting functions for 16 funds.Prepare monthly financial statements for plan managers, auditors, and trustees timely.Reconcile general ledger accounts, investment statements, and bank accounts.Analyze accounting documents for accuracy.Manage fund cash flow to ensure benefits are paid out to employees on time while also ensuring funds are invested to ensure maximum ROI.File payroll taxes for federal and state including Michigan, Ohio, Oregon, and California.Prepare and analyze financial reports.Convert accounting records from other payroll systems into Peachtree with new funds.Process valuation of funds to allocate earnings and losses to individual members.Maintain schedule of prepaid expenses for amortization.Work closely with auditors to ensure information is available for audits in a timely manner.Train subordinates and colleagues on new accounting systems.Transition new clients’ accounting data to Sage 50.Manage client transitions to new banks.Create financial statement templates, bank reconciliations, investment reconciliations, journal entries, and other supporting documents for new clients.Train Accounting department on accounting processes, Sage 50, Microsoft Office products, and OnBase (enterprise content management software).Create and manage documentation on new processes.Complete special projects and reports as needed by Director of Accounting.
