I am currently employed by SSA Group as a Grounds Supervisor at the Detroit Zoo. I began in June 2021 as a custodial associate but showed my employer that I was reliable, so I was quickly promoted to supervisor. This job has fostered many great relationships with my coworkers where I've developed my communication and management skills.I received my General Associate's Degree from Macomb Community College last year and have since transferred to Lawrence Technological University to pursue a Bachelor's in Computer Science.In 2019, I worked as a youth camp counselor for the VFW Department of Michigan at Camp Trotter. For five weeks, I learned how to work with all kinds of different personalities, be it co-counselors, bosses, and of course, campers. I would've continued with it if it wasn't for COVID, which instead led me to my next job.
