HR Manager for Fargo, ND & Merrill, WI manufacturing plants. Splitting my time between the plants, I work to ensure full support for both locations by collaborating both on-site and remotely and managing my time to ensure that the priorities of both teams are met.• Conducted training sessions with plant management and leads in compliance with legal statutes as well as principles and practical training on how to grow and foster a diverse and inclusive workforce.• Created a new hire orientation program which includes a video introduction and emphasis on safety by our CEO, an overview of company history, core values and leadership, and a complete safety training program that is to OSHA 1910 General Industry standards.• Enrolled in WSI of North Dakota's Safety Incentive Program which provided a 20% discount on worker's compensation premiums by meeting varying criteria related to promoting and ensuring safety standards. Additionally, applied for and received a $20,000 Ergonomics Initiative grant that allowed us to make many of our workstations height adjustable and to invest in more ergonomically-sound power tools.• Participated in a weeklong value stream mapping event hosted by Next Level Partners.• Utilizing video editing software, created several low cost "how-to" videos to instruct employees on how to use the self-service functions of ADP Workforce Now and the ADP mobile app.

HR Manager for RiteScreen's flagship manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters. • Applied a pro-active and people-centric approach to employee well-being and safety by collaborating with an occupational therapist to create ergonomic videos which included targeted warm-up exercises and "dos-and-don'ts" for performing duties at work to ensure safety on-the-job.• Secured grant funding and worked with Harrisburg Area Community College to organize a monthly onsite series of 4-hour training modules targeting different facets of leadership.• Aided RiteScreen in the transition from paper SDS binders to a cloud-based SDS management system enabling remote and easy access to safety data sheets from any smart device.• Sourced local vendors to provide the plant with market-style vending services offering healthier food options and a wider variety of products while maintaining affordability.

HR Generalist for Ritescreen's flagship manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters.• Designed an unemployment calculator in Excel to assist Plant Managers in determining optimal scheduling to benefit employees and the company at the start of Covid lockdowns. Guided employees in seven states regarding state-specific options for unemployment and/or EFMLA.• Assisted in the planning and development of a professionally-produced recruitment video for use on social media and the company Careers page as well as a scripted video to introduce new hires to the history of our company, its mission, vision and values.• Collaborated with the HR team in the development of our Employee Policy Handbook and ongoing policies, as needed. This included an infectious disease control policy in the midst of Covid-19 and a new approach to safety-sensitive positions and drug testing methodologies, transitioning from pre-employment lab-testing to in-house sampling using oral swabs in an effort to adapt to a changing legal and social landscape.• Aided in the transition to an HRIS system from paper enabling more efficient and transparent personnel filing system. Setup and rollout of ADP Document Cloud, Recruitment and Onboarding modules, and the Performance Dashboard. Developed associated SOPs, best practices and conducted user training. This resulted in the transformation of many manual HR functions from paper to automated and digitized.• Conducted individual safety training sessions for all new hires as well as monthly training for 150 employees to ensure OSHA compliance and to keep safety at the forefront of employee consciousness.
