I'm an embedded software engineer at Naval Nuclear Laboratory. In December of 2022, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Binghamton University with a BS in Computer Science and was selected to receive the Undergraduate Academic Excellence in Computer Science award. I've focused on systems-level programming, operating systems, and high-performance computing, but I have experience in networking, app design, and statistics. I'm intrigued by number theory and the theory of computation, plus all their applications in software systems of all kinds. During my undergrad, I led the Binghamton Rover Team's Software Sub-Team for one competition year, a fun role where I worked with developers, scientists, and engineers across many disciplines. When I'm not programming, I love camping, hiking, and paddling around the Adirondack region of NY.

I used Python to develop a tool for qualification engineers to estimate the runtime of automated test scripts to help schedule tests. The tool was required to parse control structures, such as subroutines, branches, and loops, as well as track variable values in order to calculate how many times each loops would run to produce the most accurate time estimate. I added a command-line based frontend and wrote a user manual for the qualification engineers to use the tool and understand all options.
