My responsibilities include supporting HIPAA dental transactions (837, 835, and 277) along with many internal products. My expertise in HIPAA has provided me with the background to provide valuable insight to team members and customers alike. In being a subject matter expert in the electronic claims transactions, I have trained and mentored team members to comprehend and utilize these transactions in testing.I am also proficient in writing SQL queries and statements. In using DB2, SPUFIs run the insert/delete/update statements to modify tables. With my knowledge in that area, I provide the customer and team members with valuable information on the internal tables to help claims process accordingly. I am involved in many of the updates to those tables to ensure smooth and working transactions.I am consistently placed on enhancements or projects out of my area of expertise, but I am diligent and reliable enough to quickly learn the process and test within time and budget. I performed estimates on requests from customers, basing the skill level of our team members and the hours we would need to handle the requests. The task of estimating is an ever evolving task that I continuously learn from. I have learned to view the change from all angles to provide an estimate that would resemble our final cost.I am involved in many company wide initiatives. Previously I've worked with waterfall methodology, change management and currently the agile methodology.

When I was an intern at PennDOT, I assisted in maintaining and updating the internal Sharepoint site. I compiled notes on processes and budget requests. I also provided assistance on putting together the AASHTO conference. I had Business Analyst training through Momentum and assisted in building flows for our old and new processes.
