In my senior role within the BNZ Technology group, I provided strategic, technical, and functional leadership, overseeing the development, implementation, and execution of the bank’s application strategy and propositions for customers. I was accountable for the performance of our applications, including BNZ’s website, internet banking, and mobile platforms for both personal and business customers, as well as open banking and proprietary APIs for third-party developers. I led a team of 120 professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality digital experiences.

As the leader responsible for delivering Xero’s platform and API gateway, I enabled scalable innovation by third-party developers. I oversaw strategy, planning, team management, and P&L, ensuring technical and strategic alignment with Xero’s overall goals and customer needs.I provided comprehensive oversight across relevant groups to drive the execution of key projects, ensuring our platform facilitated seamless integration and innovation within the developer ecosystem.

As the leader of product management, engineering, design, and developer relations in the app ecosystem at Xero, I oversaw Xero’s developer API, developer tools, the Xero app marketplace, and strategic outbound integrations. In this global role, I led multi-disciplinary teams dedicated to enhancing our ecosystem for partners and small businesses.Key to our success was community engagement.
