For the past 18 years, I have owned and operated a business with my husband. This was not something I sought out initially, but rather married into by default. I have enjoyed building and growing this business from the ground up and stepping out of my comfort zone to do so.When starting out in business, I knew we had to differentiate ourselves from the pack of others that offer similar services. I coined the tagline "Building Value Through Comfort" for our advertising and marketing campaigns, to me this means keeping their homes not just warm in the winter or cool in the summer, but also taking care of any other concerns that can be addressed by their home HVAC system, such as allergen control and humidity issues. Through our attention to customer service satisfaction, we have earned and maintained a 99% CS score with a 5 star Google rating. This commitment has allowed us to turn customers into clients, which to me has a more long-term implication and these continuing relationships turn into referrals, thus allowing business growth. In recent years, my heart is drawn toward philanthropy and non-profits, especially those that attend to under-served children. This has brought out a true passion in me to learn more so that I can do more. I re-enrolled in college classes to pursue this B.S. in Strategic Communications with a social media emphasis. Both at work and in my volunteer positions, I see a strong need to be on top of this trend to reach clients and donors alike.
