I have over 20 years of experience serving as a nurse educator and have administrative experience serving as the current BSN Program Director at Murray State University. I have experience teaching in the undergraduate and graduate programs and have extensive experience teaching on line in the RN-BSN and DNP programs. I have presented and published at the local, regional, state, national and international levels. My research interests include incivility, NCLEX-RN success for undergraduate nursing students, and health promotion. I am an active member of several professional organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the Kentucky Nurses Association. My clinical experience is in public health in particular women's health and wellness. I am passionate about nursing education and public health.
