This role is part of the broader Patient Access and Healthcare Solutions Team, with goals around (1) Positioning Novartis as a sustainable partner in Healthcare, (2) Improving access for patients to treatment, (3) Improving outcomes and experience for patients and healthcare providers and (4) Building internal capability around health systems engagement at all levels.My role is as a Business Partner and Engagement Lead for State Health Departments, Local Health Networks and key Divisions which were aligned to Novartis business priorities. The scope of the role is across Novartis as a whole (all Divisions), taking a health systems perspective.Through deep understanding of the local healthcare environment, generating insights into system and grass-roots challenges and opportunities and then aligning and mobilising resources to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for Patients, Health System Stakeholders and Novartis.Stakeholders include State Health Departments, Local Health Network Executives, Divisional Directors, Clinical Heads of Department, Procurement, Pharmacy Banner Groups, Peak Bodies and Community organisations, Universities and Corporates.

The purpose of this role was to connect the Novartis medicines portfolio with healthcare stakeholders to aid disease management in local communities.With a focus on reducing avoidable hospital admissions, this was done through understanding local population needs, priorities of the relevant Primary Health Networks and healthcare service providers, together with latest evidence in contemporary clinical guidelines. Tailored initiatives were co-designed to ensure goals were achieved for diverse stakeholders (e.g. Patients, healthcare providers and Novartis).

Tackling the question of “What will the RAA of tomorrow look like?”, Innovation at RAA looks to a long-term horizon of maintaining relevance in members’ lives in a rapidly changing world. We explore new offers in emerging categories & markets that enable disruptive innovation and aim to position RAA for the next wave of growth.Dana delivered outcomes relating to:- Innovation roadmap and capability building - Innovation in Schools - Home category future pain points, ideation, journey mapping
