My practice is focused on providing leadership and operations teams with strategic business advice on labor and employment issues, alternative dispute resolution and litigation. In addition to managing litigation nationwide, I minimize legal risks related to wrongful discharge, retaliation, harassment, discrimination, wage and hour compliance, medical leave and employment agreements. As an experienced litigator and in-house counsel, I understand business demands and how to navigate them while remaining compliant with the letter and spirit of law. I also enjoy providing proactive training to corporate leadership, human resources personnel and operations teams on the full spectrum of labor and employment law issues. I maximize value and mitigate risk for management and HR teams by counseling them through legal disputes, employee discipline, investigations, terminations, layoffs, and providing preventative measures such as training, policies and handbooks. Prior to my return to private practice, I served for more than a decade as in-house counsel at regional and national companies where I focused on the management of labor and employment law issues, mediation, litigation, and strategic business matters.
