As an MBA student at MIT Sloan School of Management, I'm passionate about the intersection of finance and technology. Prior to Sloan, I was a Strategic Finance Manager at Toss Securities, a Korean Fintech Startup renowned for its innovative online brokerage service catering to retail customers. During my tenure, I took ownership of the financial model and spearheaded data-driven decision-making initiatives that drove top-line growth for the company.Prior to my role at Toss Securities, I served as a Corporate Finance Manager in the Trading and Investment Group's CFO team of Samsung C&T. This position afforded me the opportunity to work across 11 different countries, where I focused on enhancing the financial and operational efficiency of the Global Enterprise.Throughout my career, I have honed my expertise in cross-functional team management, financial planning and analysis, long-term and short-term business planning, and financial strategy. My experience spans both large-scale multi-billion-dollar corporations and early-stage startups, enabling me to navigate the intricacies of diverse financial landscapes.I graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Economics from Sogang University, and I am currently a dean's fellow MBA student at MIT Sloan. I interned at Goldman Sachs Financial Institutions Group in New York during the summer and will return full-time post-MBA.My areas of interest encompass various subjects within the finance and technology sphere, including Fintech, Financial Inclusion, Consumer Finance, Women in Finance, Investment Banking, M&A, FP&A, and Operational Finance.
