  As part of the Development & Communications team, the SEM collaborates closely with the Donor Engagement Officer and other key stakeholders to create innovative and engaging experiences for supporters and volunteers. The SEM encompasses a variety of functions designed to inspire the community and drive financial support for the OFS mission. Key responsibilities include:> Event Management - Lead the organization and execution of major fundraising events, including the "Swing to Heal Hunger Golf Tournament" and "Feast for Change: A Farm to Fork Experience." Develop comprehensive project plans, manage logistics, coordinate with vendors, and oversee all aspects of event execution to ensure success.> Fundraising & Stewardship - Engage with a dedicated community of supporters. Manage volunteer committees, build and maintain relationships with donors, and oversee event-related communications and materials in collaboration with the Director of Communications and Donor Engagement Officer.> Sponsorship/Auction Coordination - Work closely with the Chief Development Officer and Donor Engagement Officer to secure and manage sponsorships and auction items. Implement strategies to attract and retain sponsors.> Friends Board Liaison: Mentor & support the Friends Board in fundraising and engagement activities. Oversee the planning and execution of "Party for Packs" signature event and assist in recruitment efforts to diversify the board’s membership.> Campaign Coordination: Assist in planning and implementation of various campaigns & events, including April Showers, Shop Out Hunger, Scouting for Food, and Warner's Warmup. Support the organization of legacy and recognition events such as the Heirloom Legacy Society or Harvesters Circle gatherings.> Volunteer/Staff Collaboration: Coordinate staff and volunteers to ensure effective event day management. Oversee the One Cause Program for ticketing & guest check-in, ensuring smooth operations and successful event outcomes.
