I believe that data can be used to change the world. I am particularly interested in using data to make the world a more equitable and humane place to live. I have 20 years of experience developing monitoring and evaluation systems for social-justice oriented nonprofits. My values and beliefs strongly influence how I work as an evaluator. Some of them are:We owe it to our communities to foster strong organizations capable of achieving their missions, ultimately making society more equitable. It’s worth investing time into crafting measurement systems that reflect organizational and community values.Organizations need to unravel themselves from white dominant cultural practices in order to make the world a more just, humane place to live.I am trained in public health and social justice-based measurement methodology. I have successfully developed teams, systems, and processes that support equity, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. I am meticulous and highly collaborative and believe that a participatory, values based approach to program evaluation and strategy development increases ownership over results and builds capacity for learning and change.
