• Designed and implemented the reinsurance credit risk repository for the Reinsurance division. Solely responsible for the accuracy and updating of the Reinsurance Credit Risk Repository. • Quarterly coordinated and liaised with global divisions for the company’s total reinsurance exposure and reported exposure to the investment division and to Manulife’s Credit Risk Committee. Streamlined the Credit Exposure reporting process of various Manulife divisions globally.• Monitored client’s S&P and Moody’s ratings and updated internal repository (database) and ratings. Advised senior management and divisional heads of any downgrades that would adversely affect the companies’ ability to meet their financial obligations to Manulife.• Conducted the initial research for the Director of Credit Risk to complete their credit risk analysis of reinsurance clients. This involved the analysis of the client’s annual and quarterly statements, checking their income and balance sheets and investigating any current news about the company.• Assisted the director and other senior management on any new or current initiatives related to reinsurance credit risk.
