When I started at Superbreak, I joined as a junior developer to help migrate their website over from ColdFusion to ASP.NET. Their old site used a framework called 'Mach II'​ which is an MVC implementation for ColdFusion.Working with this for over a year gave me a good understanding of the MVC architecture and, when we were ready to migrate to .NET, we made the decision to use Microsoft's then-new ASP.NET MVC.Once the new website was up and running, our attention switched to various new projects which I either led or was an integral part of. This included selling flights, Eurostar and beginning the implementation of a CMS from my future employer, ATCORE.Never a dull moment, I thoroughly enjoyed working at SuperBreak, and still maintain close contact with many of the people I worked with.

Starting off as a junior, I eventually developed into a senior developer creating websites such as http://www.empirecommercial.co.uk.Although I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, I felt I was moving too quickly in my role, and left in 2007 to further my development.
