Profile bio

About Dana Watts

Over 30 years ago I began my Forest Service career with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Resource Management. Ten years of land management work experience led to spatial mapping and Geographic Information System mapping and support. Support being the operative word, as this encompassed all Information technology at the small district where I was employed. This experience led to my current Information Technology career where I've spent the last 20 years. During this time I've been a part of three major re-organizations, leading new staffs through major change and standing up new programs. I have managed to acquire many years of supervisory, budget, and program management experience, along with experience leading complex, multidisciplinary project teams. Most recently I have been successfully managing a USDA Major investment, and am looking forward to the transition to the Technology Business Management framework. My passion and interests center on customer service, process improvement and teamwork.

Listed skills include Government, Policy, Process Improvement, Program Management, and 45 others.
