President Of Sunrise Restaurants
CurrentAs President, I am responsible for overseeing the company’s ongoing operations and procedures. Sunrise Restaurants, under WKS, owns and operates 108 Denny’s Restaurants in 16 states. I report directly to the CEO and COO of the company, and I am responsible for establishing policies that promote company culture and vision through its operations. By setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth, I am tasked with leading employees and encouraging maximum performance and dedication. The President role is a high-visibility position, requiring strong communication skills and the responsibility of being called upon to positively represent the organization. I maintain the highest level of integrity and lead by example in all areas. I also work hand in hand with my Denny’s Corporate Counterparts. Principal Responsibilities: Overseeing day-to-day operations and keeping the CEO/COO apprised of significant events; Creating operations strategy and policies; Communicating strategy and policy to employees; Fostering employee alignment with corporate goals Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth Establish policies that promote company culture and vision Oversee field operations of the company to ensure profitability targets Evaluate performance by analyzing data and metrics – proformas & monthly financials Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass profitability, cash flow and business goals High-level understanding of all business functions such as IT, HR, Finance, Sales & Marketing Collaborate with the staff to develop and implement plans for the operational systems, policies, and processes Manage employees and mentor them in leadership and technical skills Ensure all program initiatives align with the company’s core values and culture Provide leadership so the team might take more initiative in their roles.
