Worked at CPW from 11/2002- 12/2007, returned 12/2018 after being called back by the Warehouse Director, Tom Rodmyer, while they were struggling with finding reliable staff. Work on receiving dock unloading and checking in shipments. Stock produce and other perishables in warehouse using pallet jacks and fork lifts. Rotated stock, cleaned warehouse, and performed facilities repairs. Build orders for outgoing shipments and loaded onto trucks.

Directs the Education Equity Department at OutFront MN. Leads training's, outreach, programmatic work involving staff, faculty, school boards in k12 education. Works directly with staff, administration, and faculty in k12 schools in Minnesota providing support, advising on school policies, and supporting work to create safe, welcoming, and affirming places for students and staff. Also works directly with parents to help meet their child's needs as well as finding support for them.Children should feel safe, secure, and able to fully express who they are as a member of the LGBTQ+ community without fear of living their authentic life.

As the Grassroots Organizer and Programs Manager, managed and directed multiple programs, campaigns, staff members, volunteers, and events.Campus Organizing Program: Recruit, train, manage Campus Representatives on seven campuses throughout Minnesota, developed trainings specific to organizational goals while fitting into each campuses culture. Conduct weekly check in calls, coaching and management of Facebook group page. Intern development and retention to keep talent in the organization.Trust Project: Initiated a new model for organizing in communities of color that moves beyond traditional organizing model based on organizational goals into blending community needs and NARAL’s mission statement. Pro-Choice Lobby Day: Lead planner in key annual event. Successfully saw event growth in attendance, impact, volunteer development. Continuously improved program impact by expanding sponsorship and marketing, attendee trainings, legislative visits, and materials. Grew attendance yearly from 50 to 400 attendees.Campaign work: Recruited volunteers for door knocking and phone banks. Developed messaging to be used on the phones and in person. Conducted in district meetings with constituents. Outreach to rural and urban communities: Planning and implementation of annual programmatic tour to 10 Minnesota cities to meet educational, programmatic and legislative goals.Creation of training manual designed to help address issues of sexual assault in undocumented immigrant communities.Staff recruitment, retention, reviews, and development: Recruit applicants to various positions, conduct interviews, and hire staff.
