I was initially hired as a customer services representative for the 'Know-How' bar of a large and busy retail store with my responsibilities equally split between general customer service and technical support, however after showing my technical skills and time management that I learned from my business in Australia I was placed in charge of the technical services and sales where i was able to create a streamlined sales, repair and technical services desk and in the first month I was rewarded with more than doubling the monthly target for sales and services. shortly after a new member of the team with considerable technical service experience was able to teach me a vast array of new skills and together with the support of the stores managers we created a simple yet effective method of data rescue and transfer that saved customers up to two weeks of waiting for their data to be sent to a specialist. We later started offering customers with difficult requirements bespoke solutions to software issues and modifications to standard systems. I left this role after learning what I needed to start a permanent career in the I.T industry in London.

We offered clients a tailor made service delivering unique transport solutions and started the only backpacker pre-inspection service for selling or the purchasing of vehicles. I made strong connections with many local repair garages, local dealers and council auctioneers in order guarantee an affordable service whilst making a profit from the start. We built a strong reputation with requests coming from backpackers asking for remote help through word of mouth recommendations and the use of social media effectively.
