"Worse things happen at sea" The lessons I’ve learnt whilst running my own business are that hard work and individual battles come in different forms. These are challenges needed to gain valuable experience and learning to adapt and deal with stress has been another factor that I consider an important skill. With the tough times come good however and helping people through difficulties either customers or colleagues is up there as a main driver of my journey as a businessman.The two saying above help me get through difficulties and as someone wanting to strive for better it help me keep my feet grounded.Now that I've closed my business I want to use my skills and experience to help other people and companies, I see myself trying to get the best out of people. I believe that's what management should aim to push and develop there team in caring but professional manner.
