I started to work as a professional nature photographer for more that 15 years, and for 8 years as a filmmaker, especially on directing, research and writing. In this time, I was collaborating with many NGO’s like WWF, Rewilding Europe, Ornithological Society of Romania and Conservation Carpathia, for different projects. I am the president of Forona (Romanian Nature Photography Organisation) and my images were published in National Geographic and other magazines. As a filmmaker I was involved as a researcher for Romania for BBC Seven Worlds, One Planet and Europe’s New Wild for Nat Geo Wild. Our documentary movies were well received in some international festivals and won some awards.My dearest project is Wild Romania (Official Selection at Wildscreen), the biggest nature photography and documentary film in my country, more than 10 years in the making.
