This meant making sure all cash was secured and checked for, all the correct marketing was on display, making sure staff where on time and was carrying out any promotional activities that had to be completed for that particular day. It was also my responsibility to overlook the store standards, ensuring that the store space was clean and tidy, make sure all equipment was functioning and that all health and safety requirements were met. The role was very customer orientated so I have extensive skills in communication with the clientele making sure all query's were answered, signing customer up for exciting new deals and in shop tournaments. My time at paddy power really taught me about communication and working with people from all different walks of life. It has made me confident to approach anyone and any situation with positivity. In this role it was my duty to create mailing lists and contact people between the ages of 16-25 signing them up to from level 2 to level 3 apprenticeship courses.
