I am a goal-oriented developer with over two years of hands-on experience in both the public and private sectors. My passion is to produce websites and web-applications that users will enjoy interacting with. I'm a self-starter and have a thirst for learning.I graduated from Carleton University in December 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minor in Film Studies.I have extensive programming experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, React, Docker, Python, PHP, C++, VBA, Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, JSON, JQuery, MDBootstrap, ANT+, GIT, MongoDB, MySQL, Amazon Web Services, Socket.io, WordPress, and OpenCart.I also have photo and video editing experience in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and, Premiere Pro, as well as Avid Media Composer.While working in the Quality Assurance Department for the Privy Council Office, I gained substantial experience in writing test cases for government applications such as the GCDocs initiative. I then worked in Database Management for the Patents department of the Canadian Intellectual Property Office. Here I gained experience in updating government databases as well programming complex VBA macros to automate repetitive tasks in Microsoft Excel and Word. I then worked as a Full Stack Software Developer for SiteMaster Technologies. There I led a team to design and develop websites and web-applications using a variety of front-end and back-end programming languages.I'm currently a Full Stack Developer at 44 North Digital Marketing where I work with a team of fellow developers to build highly scalable and responsive web-applications.
