This entailed utilizing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) to control pest populations through the release of parasitoid wasps and predatory insects.

Responsibilities included creating and maintaining a sense of community in Miami University dormitories and maintaining the safety and well-being of over 70 residents. Coordinated with residents to create a corridor constitution for basic rules and governance, draft and submit funding requests for dorm activities, mediated conflict resolutions, tracked resident attendance, and conducted multiple one-on-one meetings with all residents each semester.

Responsibilities included recording digital images of several thousand Fabaceae specimens and maintaining the organization of the largest herbarium specimen collection in the State of Ohio.

Served as Lead Staff Botanist for Conservationist, ash tree Specialist and creator of ArborMedicine LLC, Mark T Gilmore. Primary responsibilities included treating ash infested with emerald ash borer (EAB) in Hueston Woods State Park by injecting insecticide via Tree I.V. and QUIK-jet Air methods. Other responsibilities included: -Maintaining daily written logs and Excel spreadsheets in compliance with the Ohio Department of Agriculture's policy for insecticide use;-Utilizing GPS and ESRI software to create and maintain maps prioritizing trees for treatment, tracking treated trees, and creating training materials for new employees;-Maintaining the integrity of equipment and insecticides via proper cleaning and storing; and-Writing/submitting a grant to the Audubon Society for continued funding for 2017 efforts

Completed a summer AmeriCorps internship with the Clermont Soil and Water Conservation District. Responsibilities included using theodolite, clinometer, and manual slope measurements to conduct land surveys and assist in the recommendation of best management practices for soil loss and erosion prevention.
