• Responsible for responding to public and private messages and enquiries across multiple brands. This involves rapidly drafting responses for the Twitter and Facebook channels which adhere to that brand’s tone of voice, contain accurate information about its services and product range and portray the bank in the best possible way to prevent public reputational damage. • The role requires exceptional written communication skills, an in-depth knowledge of the bank’s current core values and marketing campaigns and the ability to write engaging responses which, can be entertaining where appropriate, but maintain the highest standards of professionalism. • The role also involves dealing with and meeting the demands of key stakeholders. Whether this be the demanding and constantly evolving expectations of customers, or channelling the messages of the bank’s marketing, branch or myriad product teams.

• Responsible for proof reading content and preparing it for publication. This includes ensuring all content meets with the sites style and editorial guidelines, is free from spelling and grammatical errors and contains the correct HTML formatting to fit with the websites Content Management System and pre-set article layouts.• Alongside the site’s Senior Editor I help to run and organise our writing staff. This involves providing feedback and coaching about the content they submit, ensuring they meet all deadlines and making sure they have all review materials to produce their content.• I also play a role in liaising with music publicists, band management and record labels to arrange interviews, gig access and other review materials for the writing team.• Additionally I produce my own written, video and audio content for the site including reviews, interviews, video interviews and podcast. This requires me to think and write creatively, film and record content and use a range of editing software.
