Marketing, communications and information design specialist for WWU's University Residences. Developed, coordinated and produced content across all channels, including print, web, and social media, as well as representing the division in public settings. Writer, editor, PR content producer and liaison for Western Washington University’s Division of Advancement, generating news, interviews, press releases and other editorial and PR-related content across multiple platforms, including print collateral, case studies, digital newsletters, Board of Trustees reports, websites, advertorials and emails. Created, generated and maintained all content for the award-winning Western Stands for Washington campaign website; led on all print and digital content for a fundraising campaign which achieved its $60 million goal seven months ahead of schedule. Generated internal division talking points as well as media talking points for VP.Adjunct Professor, WWU Journalism, teaching First-year Interest Group class with a Journalism and Art History focus, Fall 2014.

Teaching magazine feature writing, production, design and publishing at BA and MA levels, including marketing and PR strategies and management of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.

Coordinated and delivered ACE-funded pilot project: planned and implemented the marketing and publicity campaign; generated content for the website, Facebook page and Twitter feed; oversaw events management.

Coordinated and hosted live weekly television program featuring Ghanaian and other African literature, with a focus on social and women’s issues.

Fact-checked and verified stories for major national weekly magazine. Primarily assigned to late breaking news stories; more than ten years of experience working under intensive time constraints and extremely tight deadlines on a weekly basis.
