CurrentResponsible for facilitating the strategic and operational leadership of one of the most innovative, business-friendly, and responsive Port Authorities in the United States. The Clinton County Port Authority owns and operates the Wilmington Air Park - Ohio's highest volume cargo airport, in terms of pounds shipped. An FAA Part 139 certificated airport, the Wilmington Air Park has two runways (10,701 LF and 9,000 LF), and a fully-functional ILS system that is CAT III certified. The Park includes a 1900-acre commercial airport complex, nearly 3 million square feet of aviation, industrial, logistics, and professional space, and over 300 acres of readily-developable development sites. Located adjacent to Interstate 71 and equidistant from Cincinnati, Columbus, and Dayton, the Wilmington Air Park - and Clinton County as a whole - is geographically, economically and strategically positioned to continue to facilitate growth as a center of aviation, commerce, business innovation, and economic development. Established in 2004, the Clinton County Port Authority is the designated economic development agency for Clinton County, Ohio. The Port's primary mission is job creation, encouraging and enhancing economic development opportunities, and job retention throughout Wilmington and Clinton County.
