▫️In a newly created role, I assumed leadership of a diverse and expert team of 60+ across growth marketing, data and analytics, advertising and subscription revenue & monetisation, business development & partnerships, and product functions. ▫️This included spearheading the recruitment efforts for a company-first team of 25+ streaming growth specialists. My scope of responsibility encompassed full P&L oversight for Paramount+ (SVOD), MTV Play (SVOD), My5 (UK PSB BVOD), and Pluto (AVOD/FAST) across the UK and Ireland.▫️As SVP, UK streaming, I was executive lead for the launch of Paramount+ in the UK and Ireland, Paramount’s largest and most important market outside of the US. ▫️I played a key role in architecting the organisational design, spearheaded recruitment efforts, and provided leadership for a new streaming team. ▫️A major part of my role was rearchitecting major high-profile commercial partnerships with Sky and Virgin Media to facilitate the launch of Paramount+, encompassing deal structuring and direct negotiations.

Recruited to spearhead commercial strategy and market/business development initiatives for both the UK and Nordics regions, encompassing Free TV and Pay TV sectors for brands including CNN, Cartoon Network, TNT and TCM. Complex deal structuring and negotiations was a major focus, I lead major deals with industry leading platforms such as Sky and Virgin Media in the UK & Ireland, as well as Canal Digital/Telenor in the Nordics. Additionally, I played the leading role in a significant intra-company content agreement with HBO Nordics and was a key participant in a content rights deal with WarnerBros Animations.

A major focus over five years was deal structuring and negotiations with major UK media platforms, for which UKTV was one of their most important partners, being 'the gateway’ to BBC content. An additional major focus was the complex intra-company content rights negotiations with BBC PSB and BBC Studios for UKTV’s ‘Programme Licence Agreement’ output-like deal with the BBC. In addition to this, reporting directly to the CEO, I was given responsibility for creating a cross-functional virtual team and managing the performance and P&L of UKTV Play (BVOD), UKTV’s first attempt at a consumer-facing video-on-demand platform.
