Speak Up! Act Out! is committed to creating immersive performances which raise awareness, questions and encourage conversations about the issues which affect our community and society. We invite positive social changes which begin when we use theatre as a platform for debate. We have worked extensively within Brighton and further afield, facilitating workshops and sharing with other groups the tools they need to devise their own work. In our performances, which we create using extensive research and true stories which have been shared with us, we have explored issues such as homelessness; homophobia, peer pressure, emotional abuse and the family law system.We have collaborated with a variety of groups and organisations, including Cascade Creative Recovery; Mankind Counselling; University of Sussex Student Union; NCIA; The Detention Forum; Keele University; A Band of Brothers; Miss Represented; Brighton Youth Centre and First Base.

Teaching performance skills to 9-16 year olds. Directed & Stage Managed a variety of shows for this award winning theatre company for young actors.

Worked with Periplum to facilitate large outdoor performances, a Facebook Live 'Sherlock Holmes' performance & an interactive digital installation. Responsible for set construction, cueing actors and technicians, whilst also performing.
