(1985-1989), negotiated PC Magazine* Labs distribution of WinBench* 1.0, the first Windows benchmark program to use Microsoft* Windows graphics functions -- PC Magazine Labs distributed 65,000 free copies at COMDEX/Fall 1989- Drove Micro Focus' charter sponsorship of The Computer Chronicles series, including the first TV commercial-style underwriter's announcement on PBS - Responsible for the Adweek* “Year's 10 Best” award-winning print ad, "See COBOL, See COBOL Run, Run COBOL Run" as Micro Focus marketing communications manager (1983-1985)-

Negotiated with PC Magazine Labs for GSS to develop "WinBench 1.0" -- Ziff Davis distributed 65,000 copies at COMDEX/Fall'89. Led the PR launch of the Direct Graphics Interface Standard (DGIS) with Intel, Motorola, Hitachi, Chips & Technologies, Lotus, Ashton-Tate, Microsoft and other partners.
