Clerestory provided family office services and corporate finance consulting. On the family office side, managed all aspects of HNW client's affairs including investments, capital structure strategy, financial planning, insurance, property management, and reporting. Investments included alternative assets such as hedge funds, private equity funds, syndicated real estate deals, direct investments in private companies, and direct lending. Worked closely with client's advisers to create and implement estate and tax plans. On the corporate finance consulting side, worked with small business owners on a wide range of issues including capital allocation decisions, capital raising strategies, cash flow modeling, board relations, and exit strategies.

Managed the firm’s financial strategy, budgeting and accounting, and tax and financial reporting; co-managed (with other senior management) board and investor relations; Played a key role in restructuring the company and negotiating and executing the management buyout that closed in August 2001.

As a member of the Technology and Communications Corporate Finance team, I was involved in the pricing, underwriting and structuring of syndicated senior credit facilities and major recapitalizations requiring FleetBoston’s capital markets capabilities in high yield and equity.
