Dan Hoffer is a partner in Venable’s nationally recognized Labor and Employment practice group. As an experienced and accomplished litigator, he represents a broad spectrum of clients including financial services firms, consumer product manufacturers, entertainment and communication companies, post-production facilities as well as entertainment executives and talent.Mr. Hoffer has successfully litigated hundreds of lawsuits in both state and federal court, and before administrative agencies including the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, the Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He has overseen and coordinated nationwide reductions in workforce and is proficient at drafting employment-related documents, including governance and compliance policies, executive employment and confidentiality agreements and employee policy manuals. On a selective basis, he also represents individuals with meritorious employment claims.Prior to joining Venable, Mr. Hoffer was a founding partner of Kellman Hoffer LLP, a boutique labor and employment law firm.
