Designed vibration isolation and clutch assist mechanisms for motorcycles. Various tooling and process projects for reprocessing of waste wood fiber into architectural acoustic panels. Redesigned small chemical processing plant and rearranged tanks, plumbing, controls and pumps. Repaired water processing equipment in that plant. Designed semi-automated assembly station for reusable produce bags. Designed footings and abutments for pedestrian bridge to span the Cucharas River.Much of my time is spent in my machine shop fabricating and testing inventions ranging from mechanisms for manually moving large trailer loads to pilot operated water valves, zipper actuators, fishing weights, traveling irrigation equipment, pond vacuum systems, water system cleanout injectors, compact folding camper designs, manual inflator pumps, motorcycle suites, trailer ramp opening mechanisms, leather and polymer deodorizers, motorcycle turn signal indicators, a cell phone operating device for motorcycle riders, tree climbing equipment, etc.

Production Engineering, Product Development, and Technical Staffing projects for consumer and contractor paint products manufacturer. Instrumental in rapidly relocating several production lines in the US and China. Designed, fabricated and implemented numerous tools and machines for production and quality improvement. Added many ergonomic improvements to production lines. Assisted in defining departmental and individual tasks and roles, and helped with several personnel projects. Lead group FMEA exercises and participated in ongoing Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.

Built chemical company specializing in covert information systems for “tagging” products and materials such as agricultural seeds, apparel, alcoholic beverages, textiles, pharmaceuticals, foams, films, adhesives, plastics and paper. Developed methods for rapidly formulating an unlimited number of “guaranteed-unique” chemical signatures. Designed and built three production lines on shoe-string budgets. My primary accomplishment was in establishing a comprehensive application model that facilitated practical solutions across a variety of fields.
