The beauty industry’s national trade association, CEW offers resources for leadership development and access to executives. Its primary goal is to increase the number of women in executive roles. I led B2B marketing and PR for CEW: increased media impressions by more than 300% in one year; created the experience roadmaps for CEW’s Beauty Insider Knowledge Center; produced, edited and curated over 600 unique multi-media resources; wrote all marketing collateral, ads, press releases, reports, decks and e-blasts; established and managed all social media. On the B2C side, I cultivated retail partnerships and consumer engagement for the CEW Beauty Awards, strengthening relationships with journalists, vendors, sponsors and industry influencers.

This non-profit organization provides educational and cultural events (like geo-political lectures, ecology walks with top scientists, artist workshops and international food and film tasting-screenings), fostering connection between locals and visitors in the community. I spearheaded marketing initiatives, doubling attendance through targeted audience identification and outreach for over 150 events. I wrote and received 10 grants, built strategic media partnerships, produced PSAs, commercials and press releases, and managed communication to donors and sponsors (including letter writing campaigns, annual appeals and acknowledgements).

I developed a love for media at this fast-paced, media start-up. Plum TV was a multi-platform lifestyle network that educated and informed through hyper-local channels and programming. I produced the signature, 105-minute live morning show (loosely formatted after the TODAY Show).I selected all guests, stories, segments and clips for each show. Then, I wrote daily scripts, assigned duties to on-air hosts and crew, secured b-roll and floor-produced 5 live shows per week. I trained and managed 8 interns, filmed over 100 stand-alone interviews and segments, and I personally interviewed Ariana Huffington and the B-52s (among others) on-air.

Vail, Co

The big smile at the front of Adventure Ridge and Vail's ticket and pass sales office, I welcomed guests from across the world to Vail and helped them plan their best adventures atop Vail Mountain. Basically, it was a version of Customer Success before Customer Success was an official business buzzword. I also had one of the world's most beautiful mountain summit views from my desk.
