CurrentThe Pacific Association of Supreme Audit Institutions (PASAI) is the official association of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) in the Pacific region. PASAI is one of the regional working groups belonging to the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), a non-governmental organization with special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations. PASAI promotes transparent, accountable, effective, and efficient use of public sector resources in the Pacific. It contributes to that goal by helping its member SAIs improve the quality of public sector auditing in the Pacific to recognised high standards. https://www.pasai.org/Key responsibilities:• Design a comprehensive Competency Framework to streamline capability building initiatives• Set up an eLearning function for all training programmes • Provide on-the-job training to Secretariat staff on adult teaching principles and eLearning• Manage the process of converting existing material into effective online learning• Manage the design and material development for all courses. High profiles courses include: - Human Resource Management (2021-2022) and HR Champions Programme (2022-2027) Worked with the Swedish National Audit Office to design and deliver HR programmes to small and medium size Supreme Audit Institutions in the Pacific. - Module 3: Roles and Responsibilities of the Auditor General & Supreme Audit Institution A course commissioned by the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Secretariat, UK. - Report Writing to the Parliament Worked with the Office of the Auditor General, New Zealand, to design and deliver a course on to build the report writing skills of the auditors in the Pacific Supreme Audit Institutions.
