I was the in-house graphic designer as well as product photographer. I produced over 100 projects a year including logos, print advertisements, brochures, business cards, property signs, trade-show booth signage, catalogs, CD design, promotional items, packaging and web design. I provided conceptual ideas and creative problem solving techniques. I took some of the product photography, retouched it and featured it in catalogs and brochures. I managed and updated our company presence on LinkedIn as well as on our website.Accomplishments:I collaborated with our team on the overall vision and then I implemented and executed the design on the following in a 3 ½ week deadline in time for an industry trade show: Logo creation, trade-show booth signage, promotional items, email blasts, business cards, brochures, fully functioning website, trade show invitations and visual presentations.

I affectionately cared for 3 children ranging in age from 7-10. I supervised the children while their parents were at work. Each day I set aside time for improving educational skills through reading and age appropriate workbooks. I arranged and supervised outings as well as chauffeured children around to their activities. I communicated with their parents to assure that their preferences regarding child care were being maintained. I performed light housekeeping tasks to keep the home tidy when needed. I followed through and prepared their parent’s preferences for snack and meal times. I made time each day for hands on learning activities that fostered creativity, imagination and discovery.

I started working here part time while I was in High School and I became a ‘Jill of all trades’. As a bookkeeper, I politely and clearly communicated with clients about their financial needs and questions. I stuffed and sorted bank statements by hand, later by machine. I worked with customers face-to-face offering services of reconciling accounts, printing past bank statements, making necessary stop-payments and wire transfers. I was also trained and available as an alternate for running the proof machine if the proof operator needed additional help or was out of the office.As a teller, I handled large amounts of cash and processed large company deposits. I assisted customers with money orders and savings bonds. I ensured that the till was balanced and tidy at the end of the day.I worked with our loan officers to prepare dealer loans by filling out paperwork and completing basic equations. I handled loan transactions as well as answering phone calls and addressing customers concerns.As a receptionist, I directed phone calls and walk-ins to the correct department or person. I politely greeted customers as they would come through the door.

I worked here part time while pursuing my Associate of Arts degree at 18-21 credits per semester. I worked with current, future and potential students by answering their questions or directing them to the correct person. I worked with our professors and department chair to schedule students for meetings and advising sessions. I designed flyers, signage, brochures and the annual holiday card.
