About Daniel Trujillo

I’m McKinsey’s Global Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer, with more than 30 years of experience in the design, set-up and management of governance, ethics, compliance, risk and legal organizations in more than 70 countries across different industries. I’m a collaborative and inclusive leader, with a deep passion for driving positive organizational and cultural change in complex environments. I enjoy nothing more than working with teams to build and create sustainable growth and transformation. Throughout my career, I’ve worked on multilateral initiatives with organizations like the World Economic Forum, helping support the use of technology and digitization to combat corporate corruption in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Before joining McKinsey, I worked with Walmart designing and building its ethics and compliance programs. I also spent 15 years with oilfield services provider Schlumberger Limited in compliance, ethics, and governance roles. I started my career as an attorney with a litigation firm and a civil Court in Argentina, where I also worked for Cargill and Impregilo S.p.A.I have served as a board member of the PeopleForBikes coalition, as chairman of the Ozark Outdoor Foundation and member of the advisory board of Supersapiens. I currently serve the advisory board of the American Conference Institute and the Robert B. Rowling Center for Business Law & Leadership. Outside of work I enjoy time with my family, as well as training for Ironman and other outdoor sports.
