In addition, I have also been serving as a reviewer for the Surgical Endoscopy Journal since April 2023, and for the American College of Gastroenterology since April 2024. I was Chief Research Fellow at Houston Methodist Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery from August 2022 to August 2024. My involvement in the planning of two international gastroenterology and hepatology meetings in Puebla, Mexico have improved my organizational and networking skills. Moreover, I have participated in multiple international meetings where I have presented abstracts, helping me improve my speaking, writing and attention-to-detail skills.
