➢ I advised the Sector Commander on all training , assessment and Excercise.➢ I took responsibility for all Sector South Training and Excercises.➢ I was the chief Military Training and reports to Chief U7 at the FHQ.➢ I coordinated all military personnel ongoing training in the Sector.➢ I participated in Sector Commander’s morning update brief and presented SHQ inputs.➢ I supervised the U7 training and mornitored the battallions during all training and operational assessments.➢ I was the focal point for all training requests towards UNMISS Sector South HQ from non UNMISS organization.➢ I periodically, reviewed current job descriptions as well as the UNMISS Sector South HQ SOP on all military training .➢ I planned and organized Generation Awareness Training for in-rotating Contingents in the misión.➢ I assessed the battalions’ continueing training during their time in the mission.

➢ I was responsible for the record keeping of soldiers’ in units and formations in 1 Division, Nigerian Defence Academy, Defence Industry Cooperation of Nigeria and Armed Forces Command and Staff College.➢ Additionally, I ensure the safe keeping of service documents of the soldiers which is used to process their terminal benefits and promotion.➢ I ensure the issuing of their posting authorit, update their records from time to time.➢ Process the death benefits of deceased soldiers,➢ process the disengagement benefits of soldiers, conducts promotion vetting of soldiers and disengagement from service.➢ Conducts training for records clerks and organized a workshop on Documents Security, Office Management and Records Keeping workshop for all Administrative Officers and Record Clerks in 1 Division Nigerian Army AOR.➢ I filled and issue/reissued both original and duplicate certificate of service to discharging and discharged soldiers.➢ I equally took active part in the Division operational activities➢ I led several operations to frustrate the activities of bandits and kidnappers along ABUJA- KADUNA HIGHWAY➢ I recovered 4 AK47 Riffles during a raid on their camp

➢ I Lead the battalion adv to capture Kumshe, town occupied and held by Boko Haram Terrorists.➢ After the capture, I conducted several clearing operations to dislodge the terrorists,➢ I captured their weapons and equipment.➢ Conducted several dawn attacks, Ambushes, Raids and Patrols.➢ I destroyed several Improvised Explosive Devices making factories of the terrorist,➢ I released several Internally Displaced Persons and cleared several roads of Improvised Explosive Devices ➢ supervised the resettlement of IDPs back to their homes.➢ I conducted several link up patrols with my neighbouring units.➢ I conducted several joint operations with Cameroon Defence Force to frustrate Boko Harsam Activates at the border.➢ I conducted sevwral blocking operations to intercept Boko Haram logistics.➢ My operational activites in Kumshe broght Boko Haram activities to a halt and contributed immensely to the overall 7 Division success

➢ I took part in the battallion predeployment training.➢ I provided forcé protection for the entire Free Port of Liberia.➢ I secured all the key and vulnerabel assets in my AOR.➢ I provided Cash escorts for Central Bank of Liberia Staff from Monrovia to other counties to pay Liberian Government staff on monthly basis.➢ During the draw down which required my battalion to move to ZWEDRU, Fish Town and Harper, I successfully plane the movement and relocated my company to Fish Town.➢ While in Fish Town, I conducted border patrols.➢ I equally hosted the Central Bank of Liberia Staff in my location and provided force protection for them for the payment of Liberian Workers Salaries in Rive Gee County.➢ Additionally, I conducted link patrol between Zwedru and Fish Town and BETWEEN Fish Town and Harper to build confidence of the locals and secure the main Supply Rouite.➢ During the EVD period in Liberia, I led an awareness campaign in the entire River Gee County with my Medical Team which resulted to curtailing the virus in my AOR.➢ To further consolidate the peace process, I held several meetings with the local administrations.➢ I worked with the local NGOs to ensure that relief materials were delivered to hinterland.➢ As part of winning the hearts and mind of the civil populace, I led a sanitation exercise in River Gee County as part series of events to mark the Liberian Independence.

➢ I designed a comprehensive patrol programme which enabled me tdominate my AOR.➢ I ensured adequate patrol of the water ways in order to achieve the Joint Task Force mandate➢ I also conducted several air patrols to watch over Chevron platforms on the high sea.➢ I successfully defended Escravos Terminal from attack by militants. ➢ I conducted coordinated operations to destroy illegal oil refiner in my AOR..➢ I ensured the policing of the riverine communities within my AOR were free of criminal activities.➢ I provided adequate forcé protection for Chevron Oil Platforms on the high sea➢ I provided logistics escorts for the movement of Chevron logistics within the way ways.➢ I provided forcé protection for Chevron Landing Strip in Escravos.➢ I ensured that there were no communal clashes between the oil producing communities in Escravos.➢ I provided an enabling environment for Chevron and Shell to operate without interference by the local youths who make outrageous demand from the oil companies.

➢ I sent Monthly Training Report (comprised of all trainings undertaken by troops) to SHQ U7 Section, on the last day of each month.➢ I selected the training topics such that it reflected the operational requirements of the battallion, according to the particularities of the Mission Area and operational tasks,➢ I planned and led 2 platoon sized exercises that related to UNAMID tasks, every three months.➢ I issued a Training Plan constantly to sub-units➢ I described the Monthly Training Plan for the following month in the Monthly Training Report. .➢ I planned and executed a continues training for the unit.➢ I conducted On-Going Training daily basis on the following: Mission Specific Training to all the troops. Personal Security, Force Protection, Rules of Engagement, Cultural Awareness, Conduct and Discipline, Sub-Units Training, Skill at Arms, Communication APC Drills, field Hygiene and EVD.➢ I conducted Skill at Arms Competition for troops if NIBATT-18.➢ As part of efforts to keep the troops physically, I conducted morning exercises and evening games for the troops.➢ I hosted the FHQ U7 Team on training assessment visit.

➢ I provided the enabling environment to ensure the day to day running of the HQ of Depot Nigerian Army.➢ I compiled and sent both recruits and staff strength returns.➢ I kept up to date records on the recruits on daily basis and ensured that those whom were not fit were reported to the commandant for prompt action.➢ I maintained contacts with Recruits Centre and Training Branch to ensure that instructors were available to train the recruits.➢ I took officers and soldiers who were newly poste on strength and struck off strength those posted out.➢ I sent quarterly strength returns to Army Headquarters Department of Training and Operations.➢ I equally conducted daily checking for all recruits by 22.00 hours and enforced lights out.

➢ I maintained Operational Information and Force Status and assisted the commanding Officer in assessing operational situation.➢ i assisted the Commanding Officer to execute higher headquarters operations strategy and policies and communicating same to other staff members where applicable.➢ I supported the Commanding Officer in crisis response (activity reporting and monitoring), enabling the battallion leadership to make informed decisions during periods of a declared crisis situation.➢ I facilitated support for various operational activities at multiple levels in various ways.➢ I conducted Operational Movement and assisted the commanding Officer in the Intra Theatre Deployment and Redeployment of Forces within Area of Operations (AO).➢ I issued all Plans and Orders to help Synchronize and Integrate Operations and further integrated host nation security forces and means.➢ I piloted the day-to-day operations of the battalion and kept the commanding Officer apprised of all significant events.➢ I led the unit patrol of about 100km on daily basis to communities that were not visited by previous units to build the confidence of the civil populace.➢ I organized several peace mediation meetings between the warring parties which led to the consolidation of the peace process.

➢ I maintained an updated status of the strength of all Officers and Soldiers in the unit. ➢ I prepared a leave roster and ensured that troops go on leave as at when due ➢ I maintained an up to date strength returns of the unit and forwarded same to ASA. ➢ I initiated parade state on daily basis and ensured that all soldiers were present. ➢ I also conducted tattoo parade, morning physical training and evening games on daily basis. ➢ I supervised the orderly room and ensured that the clerks did their work properly. ➢ I also supervised the quarter guard and organized commander’s inspection 2 times a week. ➢ I acted as the Contonment Commander in absence of the commander. ➢ I supervised soldiers on guard duties at the various locations and ensured noe fall out of duty.
