Outreach and facilitate ongoing relationship building with local landlords, property owners, managers, realty companies and tenants ● Work with Case Managers and clients to assess stabilization needs and develop a plan to best meet housing and stabilization goals ● Provide guidance to clients and staff on housing-related issues ● Work directly with Veteran and Family Stabilization clients immediately following the initial intake session with the Case Managers to identify and find suitable housing that is appropriate to the wants and needs of the individual or family ● Conduct property habitability inspections ● Accompany clients to properties as necessary, which may include transporting clients in the agency vehicle ● Conduct negotiations with landlords for considerations, move-in specials, waivers of late charges; educates landlords about our intent to pay letter; timelines for payments and intervention; responsibilities should clients become non-compliant with their contractual responsibilities ● Work with clients to develop stable rentals if they are in temporary and/or unstable housing ● Work with landlords/property managers, Case Manager and families to resolve any issues ● Update the housing data base in Share Point using the HMIS database ● Maintains statistical data and produces reports as assigned or needed

Ensure that all assigned cases are maintained up to date and are re-certified in compliance with contracts Funding Terms & Conditions and agency policies and procedures, Maintain an ongoing appointment book to ensure that the appointment is given sufficient time to complete the purpose of visit by the participant, Obtain, read and understand program Funding Terms & Conditions, program philosophy, the personnel handbook, parent and provider handbooks and any other job related material covering all aspects of the Alternative Payment Program, Must have the ability to follow up on all cases to ensure that all contract information is accurate, Assist the program to resolve provider and parent complaints, Assures that all forms and letters are approved and proof read for correct language and spelling Print and mail out all assigned caseload attendance logs to the child care provider prior to the beginning of the month, Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager and or CalWORKs Director, Recruitment and enrollment assistance to meet program needs, Adhere to organization's and program policies, standards and procedures, Insures strict confidentiality of all information and records, Regular attendance Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Performs related duties as assigned.
