Designed the Orca series motors revisions 1 and 2. Optimized magnetic geometry resulting in a 110% improvement of force efficiency. Involved aluminum extrusion and 2 part over molding design.Built the full manufacturing process of the motors, from automated coil winding through to station layout. Project management involved sourcing work stations, designing jigs, and converting a new office expansion into the manufacturing line.Created quality and development processes utilizing DFMEAs, change management systems, and ECO processes to improve product conformity and yield.Engineered and built various 6DoF stewart platforms utilizing the Orca motors for  Navy and Aircraft VR simulators. Developed provisional patented FFB joystick, and 2,3,6DoF parallel robotic mechanisms.Expanded to applications engineering to drive sales and long term projects.
