I am an authorized translator and proofreader (French, English) with 18 years of experience in translation and proofreading jobs in different fields of activity. I have done automotive translations (my favourite), IT and telecommunications translations (installation guides, operation and service manuals for audio-video devices, calculation, communication equipment, hardware); technical translations (projects, feasibility studies, technical products catalogs, data sheets, operation manuals for electronic devices and appliances, industrial machines); economic and legal translations (contracts, articles of incorporation, rules and regulations, statements, legislation, tender books), marketing documents, human resources etc. I have translated parts of the Community law right before Romania’s accession to the European Union and after, transcripts of the European Parliament sessions, as well as different pieces of EU legislation (EC Communications, Reports, Regulation and Directive proposals, documents from different EC Directorates etc.). I also use online platforms and CAT tools for my translations (SDL Trados Studio 2017, Wordfast Pro, XTM, MemoQ, Smartling, Memsource Editor, Ontram, Lokalise).
