Behavior Interventionist

- Help students in special education/therapeutic K-8th grade school setting with behavioral, emotional, and/or cognitive struggles to work towards individualized clinical, social, and academic goals
- Guide students who are emotionally dysregulated or unsafe through personalized, trauma-informed interventions (such as behavioral coping and somatic techniques) to promote self-awareness, safety, and emotional regulation
- Encourage students to meet expectations for safety, cooperation, and classwork using Applied Behavior Analysis and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention techniques to support achievement and wellness in classes of 6-10.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other interventionists to grow skills and meet students’ needs
