CurrentResponsible for the Marketing , Sales and new Initiatives of the Tubes SBU . Look after Distribution sales of Branded products and Institutional sales of other products. Sothern region accounts for almost 35 % of the SBU revenues ie Rs 820 crores in FY 15. Profitability, customer acquisition and retention, track segment sales and realisations to advise on Production mix , External processing centre associations and alliances are few other responsibilities. Branded product sales are pure retail plays involving market coverage, reach , SOB, share, ATL & BTL activities , Influencer meets etc. On the other hand Institution sales are primarily to the 2,3 & 4 wheeler Automotive segment like TVSM, Honda, Ford, Royal Enfield etc. where we are involved in EVI, VA/VE, VMI , JIT deliveries, Cross functional teams etc .The Infrastructure segment are customers such as L&T- for Metros, Airports , Material handling and power projects , BGR energy, Alsthom, Areva, Pennar, Kirby etc where service requirements are adherence to Delivery schedule,New product development, value added services - painting , coating , bending etc.
