Program Consultant
Current• Under the authority of the Federal Transit Administration, conduct administrative based oversight of NJ Light Rail Systems including Newark Light Rail, Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, River Line, and PATCO (Lindenwold) stations in order to monitor and ensure compliance with the NJDOT State Safety Oversight Agency Program Standard• Process Risk Based Incident Reports by maintaining internal ACID database and SharePoint file system• Daily monitoring of incident reporting• Provide correspondence between NJDOT staff and Rail Transit Agency personnel, seeing incident reports through to resolution • Actively participate in Triennial auditing of rail transit agencies, ensuring compliance with the NJDOT State Safety Oversight Agency Program Standard• Update and maintain all staff training certification records• Participate in ride-a-long inspections of NJ Light Rail train cars and stations as needed• Produce and maintain monthly meeting notes and prepare for distribution between the NJDOT and Rail Transit Agencies • Assist in the formulation of Standard Operating Procedures for various NJDOT State Safety Oversight initiatives and functions• Exhibit a high level of professionalism while handling multiple tasks• Work proficiently in both a team setting and an independent capacity
