I am involved in all stages of data and metadata production, including web dissemination. The range of work includes coding data, harmonizing codes across datasets, resolving comparability issues, documenting variables, exploring data quality, testing website functionality, adapting existing methods and tools to new purposes, and developing new approaches to address novel situations.

Developed, planned, and implemented a value chain assessment of the breadfruit industry in Jamaica. Conducted interviews with farmers, agro-processors, various government officials, extension officers, distributors, and exporters. Gathered data on agricultural and breadfruit production systems, rural processing capacity, and the distribution system. Prepared and conducted a strategic planning initiative for the TTFF organization. Project included financial analysis of all operations since inception, evaluation of program effectiveness, and a short term financial growth plan.Compiled report and presented to the Jamaican Ministry of Agriculture, the Trees That Feed Foundation as well as at the IPID Student Speaker Conference at the University of Minnesota. Report informed NPOs and Government agencies on the capacity of rural famers and processors to increase the economic output of the sector through increased use of breadfruit. Received Judd Fellowship and Global Spotlight grant as part of this project.

Conducted intake of new clients whom included youth who had runaway, were homeless or abused, and developed a detailed and thorough transition plan to minimize length of stay in emergency shelter housing Connect clients to community resources to ensure access for their medical, physical and mental health needs which ensured health and wellbeing of clientsDesignated translator for all Spanish-speaking clients and families allowing a significant segment of the population access to critical shelter resources.
