I am a climate scientist who focuses on the development and dissemination of science risk information that forms the foundation of resilience strategies in urban areas. To support these efforts, I use observed data and models to identify the potential impacts of extreme weather events – such as heat waves and floods – on human systems and the built environment. Working together with stakeholders, I work to ensure that the science is effectively communicated to enable best practices in local adaptation planning.
