Ocean Rig, Corcovado 6th gen Drill Ship/leiv Erickson 5th gen SemiDerrickman/Assistant Derrickman• Reporting to the Driller/Assistant Driller I am responsible for the operation and general maintenance of the mud pumps/mix pumps in the pump room and process room‘s.• Supervise and maintain mud systems, inform the driller as to the consistency of the mud and general condition of the pumps.• Maintain the mud as to the Mud engineer’s instructions.• Keep a record of pump hours and keep the mud pump log reports up to date.• Ensure when taking on bulk i.e. mud, barite, bentonite, cement that the bulk goes in to the correct pit/silo and confirm volumes with the captain.• Responsible for PM’S in my department and recording relevant information in Ocean Rigs star system
